The Nguyen family announced Tuesday that their 2025 Christmas card has been mailed, finalizing a shoot that began December 14th, consumed three weekends, and ended with a production still bearing the faint emotional residue of a Category 3 meltdown from youngest son Mason, 4.

The card, which features the tagline “Peace on Earth,” was approved by family matriarch Linda Nguyen, 41, after take 47 cleared her minimum threshold of “no one looks like they want to leave the family.” Eldest daughter Caitlyn, 14, is described by observers as “smiling with her mouth.”

“We tried the park, the living room, the front porch, and the back porch,” said David Nguyen, 43, who reportedly suggested after take 12 that the family “just use last year’s.” He did not bring this up again. “The lighting in the kitchen was actually the best we got all season. Mason had just been bribed with a waffle.”

“It doesn’t have to be perfect. It just has to be perfect enough that my mother-in-law doesn’t say anything.”

Linda confirmed the card was printed through an online service that offered a “Holiday Rush” option in December and a “We Don’t Judge” option, which she used, in February. Seventeen recipients have already taken down their Christmas decorations. Four have not, which Linda describes as “our people.”

At press time, Linda had already begun a Pinterest board for the 2026 card concept, which she is calling “effortless.”
